Jane’s Story
Jane is a 3rd generation small-town girl born and raised in rural Iowa. She shares many charming and heartbreaking stories from her early childhood days in her book "Worthy". Click the pic to read more.
Raised Catholic, Jane was the 4th of the five Riesberg kids, to receive her first holy communion in the same small-town Iowa church she was baptized and later married in. Click the pic to read more.

Married and Moving! Having gained a new family and partner for life at the age of 20, Scott and Jane packed up their [insert year and name of car] and headed 65 miles east to Iowa State to start their college careers.
Breaking barriers, Jane was the first in her family to attend college and pursue an MBA, taking her away from her Midwest roots and introducing her to a world of diverse people and experiences she never knew existed. Click the pic to read more about her College journey.
With a forestry degree in hand and two years of marriage under her belt, Jane pursued an MBA from Purdue where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and took another step closer to a corner office. Click the pic to read more.
Swapping her park ranger’s tan shirt for a killer blue pin-striped power suit, Jane entered the corporate as an entry-level brand marketer for Kimberly-Clark Corp where she spearheaded marketing campaigns for their brands Huggies, Scott, Kleenex, Kotex over the next 17-years. Though an entire decade after marriage, chapters in motherhood came in fast and furious for Jane. At 30 years-old, Jane became a mother to their “Joy Boy”, Andy, and five years later their “Sunshine Boy”, Jack followed. Click the pic to read more.

At 40-years old, Jane & Scott picked up their family and moved to Bellevue, WA for Jane’s new position as Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s online business. She was one of the top 150 executives (one of less than a dozen women) for a company of over 60,000 employees. Click the pic to read more.
Retired to Inspired. With a career spanning three decades, Jane finally shut her Microsoft laptop on October 13, 2015 to focus on rebooting and recentering; just in time to see her youngest son enter his last year of high school. Click the pic to read more.
Responsible for business strategy, operations, sales and marketing of Surface Devices, Windows OS, Online Businesses and the Global Marketing Organization across Consumer, Enterprise, Partner, OEM and Small Business customers.
Since retirement, Jane has held the esteemed role of Chairman and advisor for various non-profit organizations, start-ups, and mature businesses. One of her many post-career achievements is her role in spearheading an emergency $3 million campaign to support Boys & Girls Clubs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Click the pic to read more.
